About the game
Hungry Balls is a physics puzzle game published by HYPERCELL on Android. You erase sections of yellow sand to guide a red character toward green creatures. Gravity carries the ball along the route you make, so the shape of a tunnel matters as much as its destination. A steep cut gives the ball speed; a shallow bend can slow it down or change its direction. The goal is to reach every green creature on the board.
Before making the first swipe, look at the whole board. Find the ball, the creatures and any solid obstacles. Work out where the ball needs to finish, then trace a route back toward its starting position. Leave sand in place when it can act as a supporting ledge or keep a moving object away from your path. Around narrow openings, small cuts are usually easier to control than clearing a large area at once.
This index contains 431 level guides. Each guide pairs a YouTube video from its credited creator with original route notes, numbered steps and tips. Open the level number shown in your game and compare the board before following a route: updates can change a layout. The language menu keeps you on the same level when a translation is available. More levels can be added as their videos and written guides are ready.

About Hungry Balls
Hungry Balls is the sand-digging physics puzzle published by HYPERCELL on Google Play. The recognizable board has yellow sand, a red character and green creatures. Your input changes the terrain; gravity and collisions determine what happens next. This guide covers that game, so compare those visual details before using instructions for another title with a similar name. The store describes hundreds of levels and new levels added over time. It does not establish a permanent final level or a precise original release date. Our published-guide count describes this website's coverage, rather than the total number in every game version.
Digging and the goal
Swipe through removable sand to create a passage that brings the red character into contact with the green creatures. A visible opening is only useful when the character can enter it and continue through the exit. Before the first cut, identify every target and check whether they occupy separate pockets. Work from the destination back toward the starting position, preparing the route while leaving the starting support intact. Release that support only after the lower passage is ready. A failed attempt is useful evidence: note where the character stopped, missed a target or touched a hazard before changing the next cut.
Use the sand as a tool
Removing more sand is not automatically better. A strip left beside the route can act as a wall, while a small shelf can keep a ball or a heavy object in place until you are ready. Make narrow experimental cuts around uncertain corners, then widen only the part that catches the character. Smooth the floor through a bend instead of leaving a staircase of tiny ledges. Fixed dark walls cannot be treated like removable sand: find their ends and route around them. When a passage drops past a creature's pocket, shape the approach toward that pocket before opening the drop below it.
Rocks, planks and rotating parts
The walkthrough boards include loose rocks, wooden planks and parts attached to visible pivots. Their position can change when supporting sand disappears or another object hits them. Before cutting underneath a moving part, identify where it can fall or swing and whether it will block a target. Keep support under an object that you want to delay. With a pivoted plank, preserve room around its rotating end instead of clearing only the space directly below the red character. These objects are part of the level layout; their presence does not establish a purchasable booster or a universal inventory item in the game.
Recognize hazards before release
Some recorded boards contain black spiked objects, bright lines between emitters, or brick-like barriers. Inspect the matching video to learn what actually happens when a moving object meets that particular element. Appearance alone is not enough to establish every interaction. Prefer a route that keeps the red character separated from an obvious hazard, and preserve a sand buffer until the safe continuation is ready. A line crossing a passage deserves attention before release, rather than after the character is already falling. Do not copy a route for a superficially similar board if its emitters, spikes or target positions are different.
Judge the layout, not the number
A larger level number does not prove that the puzzle is harder. Repeated mechanics can appear with different target positions, and a simple-looking opening may require careful timing. Judge the board by the number of separate destinations, the width of its bottlenecks and the objects that can move into the route. A useful plan identifies the first irreversible drop and the last target that must be reached before it. Our normal, hard and super hard labels are editorial navigation aids, not a promise about the game’s own labels. Where a higher difficulty has not been established, the guide uses normal conservatively.
Functions, purchases and account questions
Do not spend currency or watch a reward ad simply because a generic guide mentions a booster. First check the controls and explanation visible in your installed version. The reviewed store description and walkthroughs do not establish a universal rule for lives, energy refills, coin prices, daily rewards, events or cloud saves. Consequently, there is no reliable countdown or purchase recipe to give for those systems here. If your version offers a hint, restart or optional reward, read its current confirmation screen before using it. A level route should explain the terrain and object order without requiring an unverified purchase or claiming an unlimited-resource trick.
Loading, progress and device care
For a game that will not open, begin with reversible checks: close and reopen it, check available storage and look for an update through its legitimate store listing. Note the device model, operating-system version and exact error before contacting support. If progress disappears, record the last level and any account shown in the game before changing storage settings. Do not clear app data or uninstall as an automatic first step, because local progress may be lost and cloud restoration has not been established here. Website video problems are separate: use the YouTube source link, check connectivity and compare whether other videos can play.
Frequently asked questions
What is the objective?
Guide the red character toward the green creatures by removing sand and shaping a route. Check all separated pockets before releasing it: reaching the lowest part of the board does not prove every target was contacted. Prepare the entrance and continuation for targets that would become unreachable after a drop.
Why does the ball stop in an open tunnel?
Inspect the narrowest entrance, the floor and the approach angle. A small sand lip can catch the character even when the surrounding chamber looks large. Remove that lip gradually, preserve the useful guiding wall and try the same release again before widening the entire route or moving a second object.
Should I remove all the sand?
Usually a controlled route is more useful than a large empty area. Remaining sand can support a rock, form a retaining wall or guide a turn toward a creature. Clear only what the next movement needs. If removing a shelf causes an early fall, keep that shelf until the lower route is ready.
Why did I miss a creature?
Look for a target above the first irreversible drop or tucked behind a fixed wall. The route may pass its opening without directing the character inside. Shape that approach before opening the floor below, and compare whether a second red character is intended to cover another part of the visible board.
Is the highest guide the final game level?
No fixed final level has been established from the reviewed store information. A website index or video playlist ends where its author stopped publishing, which can be earlier than the game content. Check the actual game version and future updates. Our directory lists available guides and should not be used as proof of the game total.
Why is my numbered level different?
Compare the developer, red starting point, green target pockets and fixed walls. Updates can change layouts or their order, and similarly named games can be unrelated. If these details differ, stop copying the route and find a video with the matching board. Include the version number and layout description when reporting a mismatch.
Can I restore progress or move it to another phone?
Cloud saving and account restoration have not been confirmed by the sources used here. Before reinstalling or switching devices, check the game’s own account and save settings and ask its support about the exact version. Keep the original installation until the transfer is verified. This guide website cannot read, store or restore your game progress.
Why will the video not play?
Press the cover’s play button first; the YouTube player is intentionally loaded only after that action. If playback fails, try the credited YouTube link beneath it and check your connection. The channel may have removed the video or changed embedding permission. Report the level and source URL so the unavailable embed can be checked.
